I'm experiencing lag/high ping. What can I do?

Lag can be caused by various factors. Ensure you have a stable internet connection. You can try lowering your in-game graphics settings. If the issue persists, it might be a server-side issue (check Discord for announcements) or a problem with your connection to the server's location. Contact staff on Discord if it's severe.

The server isn't showing up in my Rust server list. How can I find it?

Sometimes the in-game browser can be unreliable. The most direct way to connect is using the console command: client.connect rust.kylanlewis.uk (click to copy). Ensure you have the correct filters applied in the server browser.

A "Disconnected" error can have several causes, including server restarts, network issues, or being kicked/banned. Check our Discord for server status updates. If the server is online, try restarting your game and internet router. If the issue continues, contact staff with the exact error message.

What are the minimum system requirements to play on this server smoothly?

Rust can be demanding. While minimum requirements are listed on the Rust Steam page, for a smooth experience on a populated server like ours, we recommend at least a Intel Core i7 (6th Generation or newer) or AMD Ryzen 5 (1600 or newer) CPU or equivalent, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB) / GTX 1660 / RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB) / RX 5500 XT / RX 5700 XT Graphics Card or equivalent.
